Conservation Starts at Home. Wildlands Festival is August 10th.
One of the biggest opportunity a business has is to use its model as a force for good.
When Jelt started in 2014, our main mission was to give back to the world, one belt at a time. We had huge goals to help raise awareness for sustainable and socially responsible business practices. We dream big, but we soon realized that we could spread this mission by starting in our local community. Every community has an opportunity to shed light on a cause that relates to the big picture, which is why we are so proud to be based in Bozeman.
Since it's inception, we have moved our manufacturing to Montana in 2016 and achieved B Corp Certification in 2018. We have also partnered with environmental organizations live 1% for the Planet to help broaden our support for Yellowstone Forever and our beloved public lands.
This August 10th, we are partnering with the inaugural Wildlands festival to raise awareness and funds for three of Montana's land conservation organizations.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen and country rock stars Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real will headline the event, while Montana Land Reliance, Gallatin Valley Land Trust and Yellowstone Forever will all receive recognition for their decades of conservation work in the area.
Montana Land Reliance works throughout the state to protect open space, wildlife and fish habitat, and agricultural lands. Montana Land Reliance is a state-wide organization that partners with landowners in order to protect open spaces, agricultural lands, and fish and wildlife habitat.
