Conservation Starts at Home. Wildlands Festival is August 10th. - Jelt Belt
One of the biggest opportunity a business has is to use its model as a force for good.
When Jelt started in 2014, our main mission was to give back to the world, one belt at a time. We had huge goals to help raise awareness for sustainable and socially responsible business practices. We dream big, but we soon realized that we could spread this mission by starting in our local community. Every community has an opportunity to shed light on a cause that relates to the big picture, which is why we are so proud to be based in Bozeman.
Since it's inception, we have moved our manufacturing to Montana in 2016 and achieved B Corp Certification in 2018. We have also partnered with environmental organizations live 1% for the Planet to help broaden our support for Yellowstone Forever and our beloved public lands.
This August 10th, we are partnering with the inaugural Wildlands festival to raise awareness and funds for three of Montana's land conservation organizations.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen and country rock stars Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real will headline the event, while Montana Land Reliance, Gallatin Valley Land Trust and Yellowstone Forever will all receive recognition for their decades of conservation work in the area.
Montana Land Reliance works throughout the state to protect open space, wildlife and fish habitat, and agricultural lands. Montana Land Reliance is a state-wide organization that partners with landowners in order to protect open spaces, agricultural lands, and fish and wildlife habitat.
Bozeman-based Gallatin Valley Land Trust has honed its mission to protect lands in Gallatin, Park, and Meagher counties, which includes Big Sky, Paradise Valley and Gallatin Valley. A part of the GVLT mission is to connect people to open lands, and one way the organization achieves this is by hosting tours of conservation easements in the county.
Yellowstone Forever—formerly the Yellowstone Association and Yellowstone Park Foundation—is the official nonprofit partner of Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone Forever partners with Yellowstone National Park to create opportunities for all people to experience, enhance, and preserve Yellowstone forever.
Their educational programming, products, and services help people enjoy, understand, and appreciate the wildlife, geology, and cultural history of the park. The opportunities Yellowstone Forever provides for volunteerism and community relations develop and engage new stewards for the park. Through thoughtful cultivation and stewardship of people who love the park, Yellowstone Forever is building a broad network of philanthropic supporters dedicated to preserving the park.
We are so proud to be a sponsor of this event and to work with the festival to raise awareness for our precious lands. We will be selling belts and apparel at the show and a direct portion of every sale will go to Yellowstone Forever on top of the proceeds from the event!
We hope to see you there for a great night!
