As the Digital Marketing Associate at Jelt, you will develop and implement our social media and digital engagement strategy with the goal of increasing engagement across all online audiences. You will produce content, including visual graphics and other digital assets, to supplement our marketing strategy. You will work in multiple digital marketing areas to help translate our messaging from campaign creation to execution. This role is responsible for helping to develop, implement, and execute marketing plans in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The Digital Marketing Associate will also help update our Shopify website platform during marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help with the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels, including social media, email marketing, and our e-commerce website.
  • Partner with influencers and non-profit partners to achieve Jelt’s strategic communication goals via social media mentions and online features.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the Jelt products to ensure consistent delivery of messaging on a daily basis.
  • Aid in the creation of internal/external marketing assets.
  • Maintain an active social media presence across all social media platforms.
  • Graphic design and photo editing when needed.

Social Media Strategy and Marketing Management:

  • Create and implement a robust social media and digital communications strategy to keep and grow Jelt’s audience online.
  • Manage social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tiktok, Pinterest, and Google Business by producing consistent content and scheduling a regular social calendar.
  • Work with influencers and non-profit partners to create user-generated content and partnership opportunities.
  • Regularly analyze metrics on audience engagement and produce monthly diagnostics.

Content/Assets Production:

  • Write and edit engaging, dynamic content for social media as well as contribute to website content.
  • Design and produce visual assets (including videos, social tiles, infographics, GIFs) that can be used for social media in addition to sales and marketing materials.
  • Lead and manage social media campaigns.
  • Use photo editing and graphic design skills to create on-brand company materials.

Website and E-commerce Support (10% time)

  • Collaborate closely with the founder to provide general Shopify website and e-commerce support for internal and external priorities.


You should be highly motivated, energetic, and creative, and contain proven experience developing and delivering digital content across multiple platforms. You will be a skilled communicator able to work with a busy founder and take ownership of the organization's social marketing strategy with a goal to to raise the bar to elevate this female-founded, sustainable product.

  • Minimum of 1-year of digital marketing experience (product-marketing preferred).
  • Ability to create and deliver content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tiktok, and Google Business.
  • Proficiency with the Shopify platform.
  • Graphic Design capabilities including Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
