Jelt is a 2019 Wright Award Contender

Jelt is humbled to be nominated for the 2019 Wright Award, presented by Something Independent. Something Independent created this award to recognize outdoor-inspired entrepreneurs, to showcase real people, real work and real communities of the Rocky Mountain West. It is such an honor to be a contender alongside such a badass group of outdoor-inspired entrepreneurs, set apart by their committed and honest approach to work

The Wright, is a 3-day summit and award program illuminating the industry and culture of the outdoors on April 29- May 2, in Golden, Colorado. Featuring panel discussions, a keynote series and special events. The Wright culminates in the 8th annual Award Night celebration on Thursday, May 2, recognizing thirteen outdoor-inspired entrepreneurs from the Rocky Mountain region.

“Our aim, through the lens of the outdoors, is to inspire the pursuit of the possible,” says Chuck Sullivan of Something Independent, founder of The Wright. “We recognize that it takes just one, or only a small handful of principled committed people to have an outsized impact in the shaping of a community, its culture and its economy. At the end of the day, The Wright is about real people, real work and real communities.” 

The outdoors matters and that is the key message of The Wright. It helps to paint a picture of work rooted in the core tenants of stewardship and sustainability. It is more than just another event, it is an opportunity to come together with like-minded people and brands who all share the same set of values in their business structure and goals.
